Kanyon: About 11 or 12.

Interviewer: Okay. After high school, do you plan on doing trade school or college?

Kanyon: Oh, going union, I’m going to my grandfather was Union, he’s part of the pipe fitter’s union. So, he’s going to get me, we’re going to union hall, pay my $15, and then to be union, get my union membership, then take their classes so I can get, so they help me find a job.

Interviewer: Okay. Then after you’re done with school, what type of work do you see yourself doing?

Kanyon: First I want to do either manufacturing fab work or pipe welding pipe, pipeline, plants if I have to.

Interviewer: And what motivates you when you’re in a work environment?

Kanyon: Money.

Interviewer: Money.

Kanyon: Money, knowing I can do a good job. Basically, doing something that I truly love. Building and welding.

Interviewer: Okay. Well that’s all the questions that I had. Is there anything else specific about yourself you’d like to say?

Kanyon: I really want to, even though I’m going to do my first part, I want to go and get my certs for, to become a welding inspector and I want to make good money, travel. I love to travel and be a welding inspector.
